3teen

I woke up this morning to my husband telling me, "Love you" before he was leaving to go to work. After reciprocating the love, I got up the energy to say, "Happy Anniversary."

Today marks thirteen years for us. December 3, 1994. It was the evening of his work Christmas Party and in the car, right before we went in, he played "Without the Rain" by LaDae and asked me to be his girlfriend. He want to be able to introduce me as his girlfriend when we got in. We actually just met two and half months prior to that evening.

So I made reservations at Donovan's per recommendations of my NI friends. It was nice. Service was pretty good. I loved my filet mignon medallions topped with blue cheese and a wine reduction. Mahal had the ribeye chop. I actually had some wine; moscato (sp?). But this didn't taste the same as the one I tried with my sister.

Anyway, following the dinner, we went to the bar to finish out the MNF game hoping and praying that the Ravens would run the Patriots into the ground. To our dismay, NE beats Baltimore 27:24.
